01Jan2004 Welcome to the newly redesigned Aslan Faction website and Happy New Year!!!!! 2003 was a very busy year for everyone. Both Ant and Lee spent some time working on sideprojects, touring, writing etc. Now we're back, so look forward to a bit more from us this year!!!!
To start the year off, we'd like to invite our fans to do a remix for us!! As many of you know, our last EP, "Sin-Drome Of Separation" had a remix of every new track except for "Weep For Me". For our upcoming album, we'd like to include at least 1 or 2 remixes from you of that track!!! We will post the remix kit on the anarchy-inc.org FTP server for you to download. Don't worry about the size of the download, the file sizes will be kept as small as possible. In order to get the server address and log-in details, please fill out this form.
Aslan Faction will be doing quite a few shows this year, including a tour of the Westcoast of the US, dates in Europe and of course a few in London.

We have just finished recording and mixing our new album "Blunt Force Trauma". The 13 tracks will now be sent to Noitekk's studio in Chemnitz, Germany for mastering and we will be busy finishing the designs for the booklet. Since Grendel's next release has been delayed, our album will be released by Noitekk a little earlier than expected. Look for it in March!!!!

The CD is ready!!!!! Really, honest! Just this past weekend we finished mixing all 4 tracks; Widow Chamber (Extended Mix), Left Haunted, Imposed On Tabloid (Tortured Mix) and Burn.
There have been many changes to the track listing but this will be it, finally. Imposed On Tabloid is the latest track we have written and the first to feature Dom Mather on guitar. (ex-GdStK).
11Jan2001
Finally bought www.aslan-faction.com, by the time I update the site, it should be working.
We are still working on the single release of Widow Chamber. Ant still has to re-record some vocals for Left Haunted and I need to then go over the final mix. All said and done, the CD should be off to the printers by the end of Jan. Fingers crossed!
25Nov2000
When is the album going to be finished?
When will the Widow Chamber single be ready?
Find out by subscribing to the newsletter.
We are just putting the finishing touches to the sleeve designs, and making sure that the mix is just right. Once this is finished, this week sometime, the stuff will go to the CD house.
27Aug2000
An MP3.com CD has been created. It has different songs than the normal pressed version will have.
16Aug2000
As we keep saying, we are recording more and more material. Whilst digital recording is fun and easy it can also be very time consuming. Both Anthony and I just want to get everything perfect (at least to our ears) but because we don't have to pay a studio by the hour, we keep going over things that should be left alone.
Today we finally finished 'Burn' which will feature on our first proper CD. (I'll put up the ra file soon but it sounds the same as what's there just longer.) We mistakenly aimed to complete an albums worth of songs before pressing and just making CD-R's in the meantime. People have been asking for demos to review and promoters will never book us without. So in the next couple of weeks we will send some tracks out to be pressed. Here is what we expect to be on the CD;
'Burn'
'Confusion Reigns'
'Neutralize'
If you have any ideas for other songs that should replace these let us know. (More tracks can be heard in Real Audio on the music page.)
13Aug2000
As you can see the website has undergone another change. I got tired of the huge logo at the top. It took up nearly a third of the page! And that was in 1024 x 768!
03Aug2000
Reviews page has started, with the first 2 of many to come!
04Jul2000
A new song called Confusion Reigns has just been finished and is available in Real Audio.
19Jun2000
Aslan Faction are hard at work recording a new set of songs and have already completed 3 of them. Some Real Audio clips will be available soon.
Although previously not considered, Aslan Faction are going pursue gigging in the very near future. We will aim for London but will consider playing anywhere.
01Jan2000
Aslan Faction has some new material and this will be recorded in the next month. Stay tuned for more info . . .
06Jun1999
Aslan Faction started but a few weeks ago as project between Anthony Mather and Lee Lauer.
Aslan Faction may never see the stage but that cannot be ruled out, never say never. Wasn't that a band? (it was actually) Anyway, studio recording will start soon but RealAudio songs can be heard on the Music link at the top of this site in the mean time.
The Lyrics and News page will start soon and the photo shoot is looming, so hang tight. If you have any comments or wish to be added to our emailing list see the Contact page. |
